Good day,

I had the pleasure this week to be part of a small group of cyclists who had the wonderful experience of staying with you and having a trip down the river.

I want to thank everyone involved with our visit. From our arrival on Wednesday to our departure on Friday we were treated like royalty. Everyone we met was helpful and enthusiastic, and to say that Norm was anything less than fantastic as a guide would be a travesty. He sized up our group from the start and did a marvellous job of calming our nerves while also enhancing the anticipation when he met with us on Wed. His direction to us on the river, and his ability to get us out of the water quickly was a great confidence builder.

Our accommodation in the Milk House was excellent for a group of our size, and the meals provided were both delicious and generous. Despite cycling about 120 km on Wed and the exercise on Thursday, I doubt that any of us shed any weight after consuming those excellent meals.

As a retired soldier I would like to thank you for the military discount, and to particularly thank you for your support of the troops. I bet they had a fantastic time when they visited you.

To summarize, I had a wonderful time at River Run, and will do my best to spread the word about the quality of a holiday with you. I understand that we were the first cycling group you have had. The ride from Ottawa is a very pleasant one, avoiding busy roads, so you may want to consider marketing your adventures to Cycling clubs. I would be happy to provide you the route we used if it would be helpful. We are going to try and post the video of our trip on our club web site.

I hope the water levels recover and that you have an outstanding season.

I wanted to extend my thanks to you for the FAM rafting trip you organized for us this past Monday; it was an unforgettable experience. Of interesting note were some comments I heard from the couple from Florida that joined us on the 6 person raft. They are avid rafters, mainly in North Carolina and they remarked that this was by far their best rafting experience. No other company they have been with has ever had multiple attempts on rapids/surfing and it really stood out to them as a significant value-add from RiverRun. Our guides, Gwyn and Kendall, were very skilled and so much fun to spend the day with, and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Hi All,

Again another successful weekend, everyone enjoyed themselves and had a great time. What great staff you have there….from the minute we arrived we were treated so well, from the person that gave us the wrist bands, to the security people, the guides, kitchen people and can't forget "woody" the deliverer of our wood and keeper of our fire, he was great everyone and thing (food included) was great. The girls loved the rafting the newbies loved it and the oldsters said it was even better than last year…everyone wants to come back…so INK us in…I am hoping to break our record of 32 women next year….

Now there was only one complaint and that is how can we get a drink while we are out rafting, it is a long run and everyone was dying of thirst…where can we buy those bottles that some of the guides had, if you get them and sell them in the store, bet they would sell like hot cakes….let me know…what we can do about that..everyone really needs a drink while out..last year I was drinking the river water…lol

But not to take away from the weekend….everything and everyone was fantastic…you should congratulate yourselves for running such a fantastic place and treating your guests so well…

Not sure if this is the right place to send this, I just wanted to thank you guys for a really awesome experience. This summer was my fourth visit to RiverRun, and it was by far the best. We came up on July 3-5 and did two trips in the 6-man rafts. We had Graham on the first day and Stef on the second day. Both were beyond fantastic. Graham was funny and really informative -- he knows a lot about the water and is just a really nice guy. Stef gave us by FAR the most "high adventure" experience to date. I have had Stef twice before and he never fails to deliver an amazing day. I was THRILLED when I saw that he would be our guide on the second day!

I think what makes your staff so great is that they manage to make you feel totally safe in the knowledge that they've done this a million times before, while at the same time they seem so excited to be out there rafting, it doesn't feel like they're "working". They are also all incredibly client-focused, which is so hard to find these days. Keep up the good hiring!

This year my mother came rafting for the first time she was TERRIFIED and thoroughly convinced she was the oldest person ever to go rafting in the history of the world (until Graham told her how old Norm, the guide, is!). Anyways, she asked me on the car ride home whether I would go back with her THIS August!

I also wanted to thank you for allowing us to keep our cabin for a few extra hours on the Sunday. We brought our new baby for the first time and it was really helpful for her grandmothers to be able to let her nap in the cabin while we rafted on the second day.

Like I said, this was my fourth time up but the first time I've written in to compliment you guys. It was definitely an amazing weekend and I'm sure I'll be back for a fifth time next year (maybe sooner if we really do come up again in August).

We just arrived home from our 4 days with River Run.....we all had a blast!

Good Monday Morning,

My group of 8 just left there yesterday and wanted to send a note to thank you so much for the great experience. We did the 12 man on Saturday and had the time of our lives. Our guide Kendall was fabulous, very friendly and informative; we really lucked out with him, although I know all the other guys are top notch as well. We totally enjoyed the facilities, some of us in a cabin and some of us camped on the lower campground.

Meals were good, games available were perfect, the band on Saturday night was fabulous and we just really had a great time all around.

We are already thinking of planning our next trip, hopefully before you close down for the summer however we want to try a little more adventure with the 6 man raft…woooooo hooooooo…

Thanks again to the wonderful Kendall (truly amazing) and all the staff who made our trip amazing and made us want to come back…

Can’t wait to see you all again for another wild ride!

Just thought I'd drop you a quick line to express my gratitude for an outstanding time I had last Friday. The staff were incredible - Graham, made the trip exciting and exilerating. He has an incredible knack with people and should be valued by your company.

I was also incredibly impressed with Lara who made it possible for me to field some very important calls (that were completely unanticipated up until 9:15 a.m. that morning). Lara's extra effort was instrumental in saving my bacon that day.

I will definitely be back!
